Here we are

Many thanks to Steve for putting this blog site together. I wasn’t one that asked for such a space but now that we have it – how do we use it, what is its purpose, and who is going to make the first posting?

I sense that the first post might set the tone for what is and what is not post-worthy. Unlike other forums that provide space to rant and rave, inspire or encourage, what will this space provide? I certainly don’t have the answers, but I do have some ideas.

I’m going to start with two and add a third in a day or two. The first is the idea of a repository. A place anyone of us can turn to for facts and articles to pass along, videos to share. Quality information that we from time to time need to back up the conversations we have with others about issues of race and antisemitism. Information to educate ourselves and others.

And secondly a poem. One I wrote a month ago while reading through the book Me and White Supremacy by Layla Saad with a small group of white guys. They liked it, I hope you do as well.
